Resources and IFH

Mosaic PCN is dedicated to providing reliable health information to refugees in a variety of ways.

Online health information and resources can be convenient to use, but remember to always ensure that the resources you are consulting are up to date. Below you’ll find some resources that have been translated into different languages to help support your health care journey in Canada.

Health Literacy Resources

The Health Literacy Project was created with the Calgary Immigrant Women’s Association (CIWA) and the Mosaic Refugee Health Clinic to reduce barriers to accessing services and improve health literacy outcomes.

Printed handouts are available for professionals who support newcomers and/or English language learners, along with resources for patients to manage their health care appointments.

The videos are available in seven different languages including Arabic, Farsi, Hindi, Mandarin, Spanish, Tigrinya, and Urdu.
