  • Women's health issues, family planning, pregnancy and postpartum care, ob/gyn
  • Family health: tropical diseases, annual exams, preventive care, acute medical issues, health education, help accessing social services and interpreters, dental, optometry
  • Children's health: full primary care, immunizations, nutrition services, a pediatric specialty clinic
  • Mental health: help with sleep disorders, depressed mood, anxiety, a psychiatrist specialty clinic, psychologist and shared mental health sessions
  • Transition services: After two years (or sooner), we connect patients to a family physician in their community.

Canadian Collaboration for Immigrant and Refugee Health - e-learning modules, guidelines, outreach, and more resources 

IFH Medavie Blue Cross Registration - The Interim Federal Health Program (IFHP) provides temporary health care coverage to refugees resettled in Canada. Physicians and health care providers who are interested in supporting refugees within their practice can register through the Medavie Blue Cross online portal.

Health Literacy ResourcesAre you a healthcare professional looking for strategies and tools to support your patients navigate the healthcare system? Are you a patient who wants to learn more about the Canadian healthcare system?

The Health Literacy Project was created with the Calgary Immigrant Women's Association (CIWA) and the Mosaic Refugee Health Clinic, to reduce barriers to accessing services and improve health literacy outcomes. Check out the Health Literacy website for multilingual videos on attending the pharmacy and your dental, optometry, family doctor, mammogram, and lab appointments. Printed handouts are available for professionals who support newcomers and/or English language learners, along with resources for patients to manage their healthcare appointments. The videos are available in seven different languages: Arabic, Farsi, Hindi, Mandarin, Spanish, Tigrinya, and Urdu.

Refugee Care Mobile App - This app was developed by Dr. Guillaume Mongeau-Martin, a Mosaic Refugee Health Clinic physician. It includes everything from IFH program information, screening recommendations, specific populations, and more!

CLIP has multilingual resources available to help you understand the latest updates from the government, financial resources available, and more! Information available in Amharic, Arabic, Bengali, Chinese (simplified and traditional), Farsi, French,Hindi, Japanese, Korean, Oromo, Punjabi, Somali, Spanish, Tagalog, Tigrinya, Urdu and Vietnamese. 

Alberta International Medical Graduate Association (AIMGA) - Multilingual recordings and webinar recordings available to learn more about COVID-19, physical distancing, and when to seek medical attention.
